Effective and high quality design requires a deep understanding
of the users of your service. Building empathy is the most effective
way of learning how your user thinks and feels. This exercise
allows you to build a persona—a description of a person who
represents a group of users for your service. Intially, your map
is based on shared assumptions, which are then tested and
compared with your user research findings. You can update your
map as your assumptions are validated or invalidated. Adapted
